Inspired by the wire constructed "circus people" of Alexander Calder’s classic American art work, “Circus”, which is on permanent exhibit at the Whitney Museum, I decided to create a more contemporary version of the "Circus" called the "Cubicle Circus" featuring the "pencil people".
